45-Hour PPL Flight Training Package
Based on Transport Canada's minimum requirement of 45 hours, including 17 hours of dual instruction and 12 hours of solo flight.
Package prices are a starting point based on the Transport Canada 45-hour minimum. Actual cost depends on each student's progress. See what is and isn't included below.

Additional Training
The package is based on the Transport Canada minimum of 45 flight hours. Students may require additional flight or instructor time depending on individual progress and proficiency.
Additional Instructor Time
Any instructor time beyond the 17 dual hours and included briefing hours is billed separately at $85/hour.
Additional Aircraft Hours
If more than 45 flight hours are required, regular CMAPAA rates apply:
- Cessna 152: $169.95/hr + $19.95/hr fuel surcharge
- Cessna 172: $209.95/hr + $24.95/hr fuel surcharge

Rates are per flight hour and exclude applicable taxes. Student rates are for CMAPAA students enrolled in training; renter rates apply to qualified rental pilots.
🛬 Cross-Country Fees
Cross-country landing fees are NOT included in the promotional package.
All landing fees incurred during cross-country flights will be billed separately based on the actual charges imposed by the airport. Any applicable parking, airport, navigation or other third-party fees are also additional.

The 45 hours are a Transport Canada minimum, not a guaranteed completion time. Each student progresses at a different pace and may require additional flight and/or instructor time before being ready for the flight test.
